Available in Non-IC Rated and Airtight IC-Rated models.Thermally protector safeguards against overheating caused by over-lamping or improper insulating. All IC housings are approved for use in direct contact with insulation allowing for significant energy savings. Non-IC housings are approved for use where insulation is kept at least three inches away from the housing.Junction box saves on installation time and features snap on covers, pry-out knock outs, riveted ground wire, and thru branch circuit wiring. The new construction models features four in-four out #12 wire; while the remodel version features two in-two out #12 wire.The housing is removable for easy access to the junction box.Includes integral magnetic transformer offering years of trouble-free operation.Accommodates up to 50w 12v MR16 lamp.
